| The Economics Research Center (ERC) is a research unit of the ISCTE business school devoted to produce and promote scientific work in the area of Economics. Its members develop both theoretical and applied research in all the main fields of Economics: macroeconomics, microeconomics, international economics, econometric studies, game theory, and others. The main goal of the center consists in contributing to the widening the frontiers of the scientific knowledge in Economics, and to attain this objective the center promotes the participation of its members in international conferences and seminars as well as their integration in international research networks; the center also intends to promote the organization of seminars and conferences in order to disseminate results in the areas of interest; finally, it is strongly supported the publication of the research results in high quality Economics journals. |
